Detectives weren't investigating the case
« on: July 04, 2012, 09:33:48 AM »
I vaguely remember when this first broke in the media, the hype was that the detectives weren't performing a proper investigation. Know, We see that the investigation continued, even though the media claimed it wasn't on going. If that's so, Why exactly did Crump take this to the media and was the medias initial arguments about the case justified?

Crump dresses in nice suits because he's brought (or threatened) suits that were remuneritive. Just because the police were still investigating after releasing Zimmerman didn't mean Wolfenson was going to decide he had a case. Now he's got Zimmerman in jail for Murder-2 and if Lester doesn't throw the case out at the SYG hearing he's free to sue Twin Lakes and Sanford and who knows what other deep pocket. And he has in any case raised his profile immensely. Asking why he went to the media is silly. It was good business.

Makes since. So what do you think about his abuse of the system, if that's what he did, in order to setup for a civil trial?
