My reply was prompted by what I regarded as a bizarre and erroneous question. As I have pointed out, the points I recently brought up have much to do with establishing that Martin lurked in the vicinity of the T instead of going home.

Do you actually read your own posts?

Are the marks Zimmerman made visible on that map?

Not all of the marks can be distinguished on the B&W copy. Enough of them can to yield some useful information. See here and here. (Click on a photo to enlarge it.)

Singleton asked Zimmerman to mark the location of Martin on first sighting.

Singleton: OK. Can you put an "X" on here, where you first saw the guy?

Zimmerman: Right, right about here.

The X can be seen in the photocopy, but it's a little hard to distinguish. I've posted an enlarged section.

Most pertinent to the present discussion, Zimmerman indicated his final parking spot at about the same place as in the reenactment (2nd link).

I can imagine Bernie barking at him, "And you took your gun out as you got out of your car because you were scared s******s, right?"

I can imagine O'Mara saying: 'Objection. Assumes facts not in evidence.'
