I'm eager for more details.

Judge Nelson hates BDLR's grandstanding against MOM's motion.

Thank goodness. The prosecution asks for a gag order, then throws all kinds of cheap shots in their court papers.

The next issue is a request by West for the state to reveal to the defense the physical address of DeeDee, Fulton and Martin's brother. Instead, Nelson orederd the state to produce the witness for deposition and that the defense can ask their address at that time. West was not happy.

MOM filed an emergency motion to sequster witnesses before deposition. Apparently a witness suggested some funny business. BDLR wants it sealed pretty badly so it must be something.

The Defense needs to bring in a copy of the ABC interview that was played, to show that a clear copy of the interview did exist.

I think Crump has a kennel full of dogs to eat his homework.

I guess professional courtesy requires that O'Mara exhaust every option for getting Crump to cough it up, before he even talks about getting it from ABC.

Judge Nelson hates BDLR's grandstanding against MOM's motion.

Thank goodness. The prosecution asks for a gag order, then throws all kinds of cheap shots in their court papers.

O'Mara was describing why Martin's social media activity was potentially relevant, and noted the state's argument relating to Zimmerman's motive of animus (the state of mind element of 2nd degree murder), noted that so far there is no evidence of animus or anger on Zimmerman's part, and that the state's charge makes Martin's attitude relevant.  O'Mara went on to say that he didn't mean to be litigating the merits at this hearing, just that he wanted to make clear why his request should be granted.  De la Rionda reacted to that, and the judge indicated that wasn't necessary.  I didn't sense any strong displeasure on her part.

De la Rionda also argued that it hadn't been proven that witness 8 (DeeDee) was a minor.  O'Mara pointed out that it is the state arguing to protect her identity on the basis of her being a minor.

You beat me to it.  The issue is meetings of SPD discussing the evidence, and consensus that there was insufficient evidence to charge a crime.  The state never disclosed that there had been meetings, nor did the state disclose the consensus (which is an exculpatory conclusion).

O'Mara is seeking an order prohibiting participants in the meetings to discuss them, until after O'Mara has deposed them.
