Notice of Filing: Baez Letter to Judge Nelson
« on: October 31, 2012, 12:13:57 PM »
Jose Baez, attorney for Casey Anthony, has written a fairly terse letter to the court regarding BDLR's claim that he had been sanctioned during Anthony's criminal trial for a pattern of extrajudicial statements. Baez points out for the court that there was no gag order in that trial and that Baez was not fined for statements to the media. He was fined for a discovery violation in that case.

I am certain that Mr. De la Rionda was more careful with his other arguments, however, I will ask him personally to please verify his facts in the future before recklessly attempting to tarnish any other members of the Central Florida legal community.

Exquisite.

For all the criticism he has received,  I am always reminding people that he won his "slam dunk for the Prosecution" case...

This will get some knickers in a twist.
