Huge news.

Crump declined defense counsel's offer to pay for replacing his recorder.

De la Rionda said Crump's recorder was picked up by the Tallahassee FDLE, and would be sent to the Orlando FDLE lab for storage. Its memory contains some matters not pertinent to the Zimmerman case.

De la Rionda handed O'Mara a copy of the FDLE receipt for the recorder.

Nelson gave the prosecution until noon Friday (12/14) to give the defense a copy of the W-8 interview.

De la Rionda suggested 'there could be two voices', presumably meaning another voice from outside W-11's unit. Then he claimed that identification of Zimmerman's voice is inculpatory, and failure to identify it is exculpatory.

Be nice.  Do you think you would do better if your job was to prosecute this case?  :(

As annoying as NMNM can be--yes, I'm pretty sure he'd do a much better job prosecuting the case.

Thanks, but I'm way too lazy to be a lawyer, even a bad one.

It turns out the question of whether identification of Zimmerman's voice is exculpatory, and hence subject to Brady discovery instead of regular discovery, is what exasperated Judge Nelson into sending the lawyers out to hash it out among themselves. She's like a very patient mom, breaking up a very stupid fight between her kids. I like this lady.

After they came back, de la Rionda agreed that identification of Zimmerman's voice is subject to discovery as 'Brady or potential Brady'.

Seems like BDLR is pretty lazy himself. And he doesn't appear to have the facts of the case on his brain's speed dial like some people  ::)

Perhaps you could just email him the info?  LOL.  He could use the help.  Instead of a potted plant he is the Little Shop of Horrors Plant...
