De la Rionda is back.

I see a black man with the Zimmerman folks. Is that Joe Oliver, the guy who did some TV appearances supporting George?

11:10 EDT, two hours and ten minutes into the hearing.

Court is still in recess, as it has been since about 9:15 EDT.

Looks like the court reporter has taken her place.

ETA: And left it again, for some reason.

Robert Jr. at the podium, taking reporter's questions.

First one is on jury sequestration.

Now he is talking about receiving death threats.

Jr. says family doesn't trust media, it's important that they have a front row seat at trial.

He says he won't be tweeting after jury is seated.

Espanol again.

Robert gives a long answer about whether GZ will take the stand. It sounds like he thinks GZ doesn't have to take the stand because the state won't have met its burden by the end of its case, and GZ will have "already testified" by virtue of his statements and interviews with police.

It sounds like he's implying he thinks GZ should not testify and O'Mara hasn't yet decided. But the decision will be based on whether they think the state has proved the charges, since they have no burden to prove anything.

He will not be tweeting once the jury is selected.

Jr. won't say anything about Shellie because of pending charges against her.

Jr. is happy 'public seating has been managed so well.' He thinks public participation is important for the verdict being seen as legitimate.

Press conference over.

ETA: I didn't catch everything Jr. said about sequestration, but I think he pointed out that it hasn't been decided yet.
