G-87 and BDLR:

Work at school. Whoops. BDLR says he shouldn't have said that part.

Heard about incident at work. That day she followed up because she works near location. Works two jobs. Did not follow case. Works 7a-7p. In bed by 8.

Saw photograph of the back of Zimmerman's head. Drew no conclusions. Recalls hearing 911 call in passing. Remembers someone yelling help. Thought someone was in distress. Hasn't formed opinion. "I wasn't there."

First time at jury duty.

Media always gets things wrong, has bias.

Agrees that media information has no place in making decision. Told not to talk about incident at work. BDLR keeps repeating that she works near there when talking about being careful not to disclose workplace.

Knows none of the witnesses. People at work discussed case but can't actually recall taking sides on guilt or innocence.

Saw a little coverage on Channel 13. People at work said there was a shooting across the street.

Aware of rallies. The rallies were about people wanting justice. Did not think rallies were bad thing.

Discussed case with husband.

No sequester hardship.

G-87 and West:

West admits to rambling.

Can see memorial from work, bears at stop sign and such. Made no real impact. Saw it as tribute and not taking sides. Saw people dropped off in tour buses as a tribute. They were asked to leave by boss. They were on property. They had no business at location. West asks for a moment.

Juror probably dismissed, Nelson says "she doesn't know how to say..." and sends candidate with deputy.

H-6 is up.

H-6 and BDLR:

H-6 is a (white?) male who heard headlines from news. Doesn't know if it was self-defense or not. NBC locally, CNN nationally. Doesn't take newspaper. Occasionally visit News 13 and CNN website. Once-a-week Facebook user. Followed initially, then lost interest.

Heard 911 call. Heard a lot surrounding SYG. Doesn't remember specifics. Heard screaming in background. Couldn't tell who was screaming. Heard a few things. Heard that someone said they didn't recognize voice but can't recall who. Doesn't recall photos.

Recalls family interviews. Recalls Zimmerman Jr. on radio 2-3 months ago. Doesn't recall context. Formed no opinion. Just listened during drives. Formed no opinion. Vaguely remember victim's family. Don't remember context. Has not formed opinion regarding guilt and innocence.

Also remember hearing "{911 call that Mr. Zimmerman made." Remember saying someone suspicious in neighborhood. Formed no opinion. Remember SYG and gun control discussions. Curious, but haven't heard all the facts. Friends may have went one way or another but can't really remember. Family didn't discuss case.

Did not research case once summons was issued.

Wrote self defense because heard on radio that might be claim of self defense. Heard that victim may had attacked him. Heard it from Monsters in the Morning. Formed no opinion.

Thought media was slanted toward Trayvon Martin at beginning, Feels coverage has balanced out. Agrees that media may be wrong. Says media spinning own agenda without facts.

Can't recall media legal experts opining, but sure it happened. No local attorney conversation.

Would unaware person that there was a confrontation and someone got killed. Not sure what else. What the witness said would be more important than media because they were there.

Have not formed opinion about self defense.

No insurmountable sequester hardship. Not seeking fame from jury service.

H-6 and MOM:

Most coverage from local sources. Watches 13 and 2. Watches CNN but not really others. Listens to 104.1 local radio. No real lean. Balanced according to what guest is on. Doesn't recall Jim Phillos on radio discussing case.

Feels like a big part at beginning in media was due to race. A lot of people protesting. Al Sharpton, etc... At first, I thought maybe they were right but then exposed to new facts that made him see bias. First impressions doesn't necessarily last longest. Doesn't think it was fair to Zimmerman. They were trying to get ratings.

MOM in rehab mode. Media bias against Zimmerman, then moderated made him wonder is story was skewed. Heard of pictures of Zimmerman's injury. Cannot remember where. MOM's working hard for this candidate. Made no opinion about self defense.

Martin is victim because of death. Not apparent if he was victim of crime. Not enough facts.

Tries not to adopt belief without proof. Can resolve question from only courtroom evidence.

Can't remember friend conversation other than topics of SYG and gun control. Gave them something to talk about, no strong opinions discussed.

Heard that Zimmerman had a Hispanic father. Heard Martin was visiting parent in area. Martin visiting dad who was living with girlfriend.

[Casual readers should keep in mind that these are comments by candidates, not factual assertions by members here.]

Three things:

NEN call, SYG and 911 call. Zimmerman was concerned about neighborhood.

No sequester issues. Have to close on house coming up on June 28. MOM is quick to point out that can be addressed.

Sidebar seems longer than usual. O'Mara using his hands a lot in talking to the Judge.

Update: Now O'Mara is holding up a single piece of paper.

Seems like the lawyers are running out the clock.

Sidebar over.  O'Mara has gone to talk to Crump who is sitting in witness gallery. (I think his deposition had been scheduled for tomorrow.)

Judge to speak: Calls out Jurors H7,10,13,18,27,29,31. Tells them she thought she would have gotten to them today. They are to return Monday Morning at 9:00 am. Gives admonishments.

GZ is the first one to stand when she excuses the prospective jurors.

Judge asks if there is anything else and one of lawyers asks to approach the bench. Sidebar.

Could be O'Mara relating outcome of his discussion with Crump?
