H-7 felt the case wasn't of personal interest to him.

He recalls commentary varied from day to day.

He thought they were just trying to sell news, couching everything so as to sell more news.

H-7 doesn't recall any court proceedings until recently. He heard sequestration of jury and admissibility of evidence were issues.

H-7 recalls discussion about TM's parents sending him to Sanford because of some behavioral issues.

If H-7 doesn't hear that at trial, he can remove it from his memory.

Courtroom feed lost for a moment.

H-7 understands that if it's not presented in court, it didn't happen.

H-7 in his work does contracting and something I didn't catch. He says in those activities, he sometimes is expected to disregard certain information, even if he is aware of it.

He doesn't recalls where GZ came, thinks it might have been from up north.

He recalls some experts from FBI and other places were going to present evidence to judge about call recording.

H-7 recalls SYG 'seemed to have a lot of bearing'.

He seems to remember that's what the defense may say.

He doesn't know how SYG laws read. He is sure he will be told if he needs to know.

H-7 recalls commentators on news. His impression was how could they know the things they claimed to.

H-7 doesn't do research on internet, didn't even know that sites on opposite sides of the case existing.

Bernie talking about sequestration.

H-7 says it will not be an insurmountable hardship, will be inconvenient.

Bernie talked to Guy.

The case comes up infrequently at H-7's work.

His wife only said she hoped he wouldn't be on the jury. Hasn't talked of it to other family member.

O'Mara up, explaining purpose of questions. He repeats Bernie's question, can H-7 leave prior impressions outside courtroom. He repeats that he can.

He thinks networks have anti-gun bias in how they present news, emphasizing certain things over others. Nothing specific to this case.

He recalls news reported there was struggle, gunshot, boy killed.

He recalls that TM was much younger than GZ.

H-7 recalls some civil rights folks came in, there were marches. They wanted sheriff's office to arrest GZ.

He saw some pictures of TM. He only remembers he was young. (He said the pictures were of TM 'as a young man'.)

H-7 wouldn't be concerned if he didn't hear something in courtroom he had heard outside. He assumes lawyers are competent and will present what they need to.

9:35, O'Mara done with H-7.

H-10 is a man. He never heard of TM or GZ. He doesn't follow media much.

H-10 says his religious beliefs would prevent him from voting guilty.

Sidebar. No surprise.

Short sidebar.

9:39 AM, Nelson called for next candidate. I didn't catch the number.

It looks like Nelson is studying a document. I would guess the next candidate's questionnaire.
