those about case developments and the legal aspects of the case.

These forums are not intended for discussion of the broader social issues beyond this case, Eg, race, guns, changes to stand your ground law, potential riots.

Bias  in specific media coverage is appropriate for discussion, but again it should relate to the trial.

Jeralyn, did you strike this because of the thread title?

The article is about how the networks will cover the trial. It discusses how the coverage of two networks in particular, MSNBC and FOX, might be affected by the guns/race issues. That's a prominent idea in the article, but I don't think the main idea. It's what an editor chose to base the title on.

I didn't mean to be provocative with the thread title. I was just reproducing the title of the article.

Would it be acceptable to post the same article with a different title, like 'Mediate on Network Coverage'?
