Gunshot Contact Wounds
« on: June 25, 2013, 01:58:18 AM »
Vincent Di Maio will be the defense expert on contact wounds. I agree with Don West that he is one of the foremost expert on the topic. He is also a medical examiner and pathologist.

Here is the chapter on contact wounds  from his seminal textbook on gunshot wounds.

Added: The chapter has some very graphic black and white photos of gunshot wounds on people. May not be for the squeamish.

Talkleft,

There are some very graphic black and white pictures in that chapter. Maybe a warning? I wasn't bothered but others might be a bit more squeamish.
