Apparently, according to a Kathy Belich tweet, the city of Sanford played the 911 Lauer tape for a group of TM's relatives.  So some of what we just heard was to poo-poo the obvious result.

I've been thinking the state was reserving the family witnesses until last, for the emotional impact. I thought SF would be the very last.

Me too.

Apparently, according to a Kathy Bellich tweet, the city of Sanford played thge 911 Lauer tape for a group of TM's relatives.  So some of what we just heard was to poo-poo the obvious result.

Is that different from the first time the recordings were played for the family, just before they were released on 3/16/12?

ETA: I found the tweet, and I think it's the same event. Belich was making the point that no LE were present. I'm not sure what the point of that is, but I'm guessing that LE would have realized they were weakening the potential of these people as witnesses, and suggested they listen individually.

Anyway, I finally understand what that fight was about.

I think it was on a group session on 3/2/12 that Tracey changed his mind who was screaming.  Kathy's tweets are here.

...Ronaquavis, who mistakenly thought he met Rachel at the funeral she didn't attend?...

I thought he was talking about meeting the girlfriend.

HN: It doesn't matter how many times a person repeats a few words over and over. It's the same phonemes, doesn't provide enough variety for comparison.

Which only points out that Owen had no clue what he was doing or why.
