Juror claimed that she couldn't hear very well.  Judge said they will be able to take videos back to jury room to play them again.  They will have to spend many hours to get a complete transcript.

I think they will be provided with transcripts too.

4:37 PM.

O'Mara on cross.

CS says he was lead investigator on the case.

I wonder if we will learn why Serino hired Jose Baez.

Is it just me or does it appear that there are sections of these videos we haven't seen/heard before?

Bernardo keys on "That doesn't even sound like me."

Serino says he was bluffing about "maybe a video."

Jury needs a recess.  15 minute break.

I have that same thought every time I hear my VM message.

I wonder if O'Mara will get to the question about "why didn't you arrest Zimmerman?"

The press is keying on Serino recommending Zimmerman be charged, but that can't be reconciled with a failure to arrest.

Does the defense even want to expose Serino's exile?
CS has been a good witness if you're pro defense.

They will have to call Serino as their own witness in order to go there.

O'Mara is concentrating on contradictions between the first Serino interview after midnight and the reenactment with what was found at the scene.  Will he avoid the 29th interview compared with what Serino had learned up to then?

5:58 PM

Jury dismissed for the day.

ETA: Nelson admonished CS as a witness, asked the attorneys if there was other business before recessing for the day. 'No' from both parties.

5:59 PM

Court recessed for the day.

“In my opinion, that would have been the truth”.
Wow.

I think that the 'Outside' Force is no longer with Serino.

When Bernie made the request to Nelson, at the beginning of the proceedings this morning, O'Mara said he had no objection.

It wasn't the beginning of the proceedings. It was between Nakasone and Singleton, a little after 11:00 AM.

If anybody finds a transcript to the "hard to hear" video today, could you post a link?  I've tried to listen to it again and I really can't tell what they are saying...
