Donnelly teared up and daubed at his eyes with a tissue, after he said that the screamer was Zimmerman, "And I wish to God I did not have that ability" (to tell person from their scream).
Bernardo asks about the deposition by the state, and did Donnelly tell the state what he was going to testify about. Donnelly listened to the recording for the first time on Saturday the 6th, and as of the deposition, he had not listened to it - may have heard it but tuned it out or walked away. (Bernardo also informed Nelson that he had other items to discuss - probably failure to disclose at deposition, and a motion to strike the testimony due to discovery violation: maybe a sequestration violation).
Bernardo asks how much had been given to defense - $2,500, plus $500, plus $1,700 worth of clothing. Bernardo tries to make a joke about getting the clothing a Jos. Banks. He agrees that Zimmerman is a dear friend. Bernardo tries to make this into bias (fair enough). Has also taken food to him at his home.
Did you listened to any other recordings? The 911/NEN operator (Bernardo ALWAYS calls this the 911 - non emergency operator). He has heard parts of its, likely from news. Do you recall what you heard? No.
This is going to be a repeat of the exaggeration schtick of "f$cking punks" and "those a$$holes."
