Were you an attorney in the court room would you object each time this happened?

11:59 AM.

O'Mara on redirect.

O'Mara 'May I use your doll for a moment?'

It's going to be a tough competition, but I think this may wind up being my favorite line of the whole trial.

Sure.

Do you doubt it?

My God I'm such a child. O'Mara mounted on Guy's doll, gesticulating wildly...it's killing me.

Nope, not one bit. Just wanted to be sure though.

I think this is their angle as well.  What's the motive though? GZ felt the fight wasn't enough of a workout and wanted to get an extra crunch in? I don't see how they get around the fact that shooting from his back was the much more likely scenario for many reasons.

There were police leaks early on which seemed to push this scenario.
It went thus;
TM starts to disengage when JG says he is calling 911. That is when GZ's hands were free to draw the pistol.

I think when O'Mara finished, the witness only had helped the defense marginally but when Guy started .......  I assume the pro prosecution crowd will go nuts attacking Mr. G.

Just IMO but I feel like this guy was really helpful, maybe even more than De Maeo to a certain extent.  He does a really good job of articulating in layman's terms (e.g. the movie Vantage Point) the way in which all of the different testimonies/bits of evidence, although conflicting or inconsistent, have important commonalities that all add up to a 'most likely' scenario that is in line with GZ's story.  Guy was probably the wrong person to cross examine this witness, for every point he scored he lost another by making a inane assertion or triumphantly pulling the string on a "gotcha" question only to find his trap empty.

Absolutely.

Poor George. Everyone who's trying to help him insults him.

About ten past, break for lunch. Jury is going out for a special lunch, extra long lunch hour.

1 45. Not a real long lunch hour.

Schaeffer just said he saw Bernie looking ugly right in Guy's face at one point during the re-cross.

Hornsby on Wesh Channel 2 says the significance of this witness is he gave the defense's closing argument ahead of time.  But Hornsby himself doesn't think somebody who never shot another person can put himself into the mind of a person like Zimmerman.

I think Guy has made an ass of himself.

Yes, but my point is news.

I see what you did there.
