She didn't let West make his argument. No third degree no child abuse.

Time saver for West.  She was right on this one.  The crime of child abuse is not in the information in any way, shape or form.

Yeah. I wasn't busting on her for not letting him talk, just trying to describe how quickly she went thumbs down.

Why does Corey get to sit there and talk on Skype (it appears) during court?

Rules don't apply to her.  Who's gonna call her out for it?

I would think the judge would, honestly. I don't like JDN, and I think she's been by spells very biased, but she's also by spells been pretty good on other things.

I've posted links to the morning session and this last ruling in the video links section a bit early today in case there's some questions about what was included in the instructions. FYI

Richard Hornsby said on weshtv that the judge will have to put the 3rd degree murder based on child abuse in.  Apparently he thinks West is making too big a deal about it.  He thinks that a case like this is not what the legislature had in mind when they crafted their child abuses statute but it has been used that way and only they can fix it.

Which his why I have asked that you not put speculation by legal analysts in this thread. They are often wrong.
