George Zimmerman Trial Coverage > Prosecution Team

Ben Kruidbos

(1/1)

jjr495:
I just read at CNN that Kruidbos was fired. The written statement that came with his firing is particularly nasty.  Corey seems to have little fear of a whistle blower suit.

If the contents of that letter is true, he should have been fired.

Except that just 2 months ago he got a meritous pay raise and (I think) an atta boy in his file.

Are there any more ethical government employees associated with this case that have not been fired yet?

That is a big if, but the things in that letter other than "You should have come to us first" don't sound very good for him if provable.

He might have been better off with a private attorney who had no previous connection to the state attorney's office, so that it couldn't look like he helped cover up for him on his way out the door.

And if he didn't think of that, then White should have.

Although  I can't fault him for wanting to take this to a lawyer who worked only for him and had no incentive to sacrifice him for the "greater good".
