Title: Congresswoman Frederica Wilson
Post by: FromBelow on February 06, 2013, 02:38:40 PM
Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but it's the closest I find. For the defense to make a public statement about this is, I think, an indication they may intend to something more than make a statement.

EDIT: Changed subject because it was too long and was causing the recent posts section to look weird.

I think they intend to use this to raise funds.

Nothing wrong with that.

Most likely. But I do like to imagine even a Congresswoman can be held accountable for what she's done to George.

I am not sure what the news is here.  As you can tell from her Wikipedia page, she has been making the same comments about Zimmerman since March.

Did you miss this part?

She has been carrying on about the case (http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-57401689-503544/trayvon-martin-shooting-spurs-lawmakers-to-call-for-more-action/), in the same manner, on the floor of the House of Representatives, since March.  Introducing a bill that has no chance of passing doesn't make much difference, IMHO.

This has very little to do with the criminal case. I'm going to lock the thread.
