My point is Democrats could have chosen stronger candidates. It can't be a badge of honor to lose to a dummy like Bush. Geez!

I voted for Gore and then Kerry. I didn't laugh, either during or after the elections.
I was laughing at cash's ridiculous suggestion that I personally was somehow responsible for Bush.

And who would the "Democrats" be? You aren't one?

I was laughing at cash's ridiculous suggestion that I personally was somehow responsible for Bush. I was just underscoring the fact that Cash tends to make unwarranted assumptions about his interlocutors. (He also seems to be having trouble remembering whom he's taunting. I guess writing doesn't make an "exact man" after all.)

It was as stupid as your suggestion that Durham was 'proud" to get Nifong! They can't be too proud since the "Anyone But Nifong" folks did a piss-poor job for campaigning to get him out, particularly in the African-American community.

Yes, of course. Nifong being elected can never be the fault of those who voted for him, it's actually the fault of those who voted against him. I see it all now. So clearly.

Not at 12:30 at night. I put on my "exact man" costume bright and early at 6 a.m.. Until then...zzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Cash - I indicated earlier that there were questions the Black community wanted answers to. [...] And while it may disburb that African-Americans had questions that leaned more towards guilt than innocence, that did not mean we didn't have the right to ask them. And we did.
There's nothing wrong with questions, but instead of providing answers, you continued to deceive your readership. You read the discovery - you knew the broomstick was not a substitution for a pen*s, nor did the accuser ever allege that it was.
Cash - I was there and you were not. Chan Hall never took his behind over to a microphone to say anything...period! If he did, trust me, with over 100 reporters there from all over the country, he would have been on everybody's newscast that evening at that forum. Sorry to disappoint.
You're right, I wasn't there. But I find it odd that Kristen expected her audience to know what she meant when she refered to Chan with "... as Chan said" .

It's called AN ELECTION, Bessy. If you want an incumbent out, and Blacks make up at least 30% of that vote, you can't claim genius status by sitting on your hands, hoping that Black voters will guess at what you want them to do and why. You have to campaign and give them a reason to vote your way.
Gee, no wonder you clicked for Kerry. I understand now.

C: system traceroute shows my mail delivered to you at 10:24 am today. Others got their mail without problem, and the little packet tracers, unlike their human targets, don't lie.

In fact, the discovery I saw raised more questions, like where is that broomstick. I've deceived no one. What I haven't done,m and will not do, is shuffle foot for Duke Three'ers who think the world spins on their BS axis. Your world, maybe, but not THE world!

Since you successfully found that odd, I suggest that you continue your extraordianry quest to discover new and odd things. In the meantime, you have this habit of inferring that I'm lying about stuff that I don't appreciate. Just because I saw this case differently from you and others, does NOT make a deceiver. So you'll pardon me, or even if you don't, if a hearty KMA is in order here.

I guess you personally voted for no one at all? Cause it seems there is no pleasing you. Voting for Bush is no good? Voting for Kerry is no good? Was there any other excellent choice I am not aware of?

Since we can't get any resolution to what came before "...as Chan said," maybe someone can post what came after? What did Kristen quote him as saying?

cash -
Whenever I read one of your overlong, meandering attempts to prop up yet another untenable position in this case, I am reminded of a scene from the movie "A River Runs Through It". I realize you may not be big on Montana fly-fishing movies, but bear with me here. The son that grows to be a writer hands his father an essay to review. The father - a minister - reads it and orders the son to cut it in half. The son studiously cuts out the dead weight and presents it to his dad again. Dad reads it and says something like "cut it in half again".
You need an editor like that man in a big, big way. And I think you understand what "big" means.

In fact, the discovery I saw raised more questions, like where is that broomstick. Been leanin' against the wall on the back porch for lo, these many months. Or did the DPD carefully replace it after testing?
